For 12 months from date of purchase the battery will be replaced if a failure occurs from manufacture defects in materials or workmanship. Our testing will be the sole arbiter to determine if a battery will not take a charge or fails a load.
After the initial 12 months period, (Note-*Golf Cart Batteries have a 12 Month Free Replacement Only, Marine have a 24 Month Prorated Warranty, and Wheel Chair as well as sealed lead acid have a 90 Free Replacement Warranty) a pro rata adjustment will be made from the original price and applied to current retail pricing in effect at the time of adjustment based on the stated warranty and type of service. The cost of transportation, service calls, battery installation, recharging, or the use of rental batteries is not covered with this warranty.
Warranty Limitations- This warranty does not cover failure in service due to fire, wreckage, explosion, freezing, abuse, neglect, the use of additives or compounds not recommended by the manufacturer. Nor will this warranty cover damage from improper installation or charging in reverse polarity, breakage of containers (hold downs), or terminal posts.
To receive a replacement battery as provided above, return the battery for testing along with the original sales receipt.
If your battery fails to start your vehicle/equipment, we recommend the following actions;
Determine if the battery needs a proper charge rather than replacement. Most batteries that fail to start a vehicle are simply discharged and needs fully charged from an automotive charger rather than the vehicles installed charging system. Improperly functioning starting or charging systems can cause premature battery failure unrelated from defects in manufacture materials and workmanship as delineated above. To receive appropriate performance and longevity from your battery, it is recommended that you periodically test and service the starting and charging system as recommended by your vehicle’s manufacturer. Testing of your battery and charging system is provided as service free of charge by Stevens Battery Warehouse at any of our convenient locations.
Return Policy- Products that have been installed and used or have been specially made or ordered are Not Returnable. If a battery has not been used and is in new condition it is available for exchange for another product of equal value at no charge, but a restocking fee of 20% may be imposed if a battery is returned for a refund.
